French but born in Brazil, Juliette travelled the world before settling in Montreal and launching in 2003, at the ripe old age of 23, her dream restaurant: a place where dessert would be the star and that would focus on the ultimate comfort food: CHOCOLATE! And so Juliette & Chocolat was born; a warm and welcoming French crêperie and chocolaterie, and the first chocolate bar in Canada. On the menu; a wide choice of creative desserts, from the dozen or so different hot chocolates (so thick a spoon sticks up straight in it), mouthwatering brownies, pastries, chocolate fondues and much more. For those that need a break from all the sweetness Juliette & Chocolat offers a savory lunch option with salads and galettes (traditional buckwheat flour crepes filled with ham, melted cheese and more). Juliette & Chocolat is now a staple of the Montreal foodie scene, with multiple locations and a reputation that extends well beyond. The menu has grown, so has the team, but the inspiration is still the same: Juliette & Chocolat is a temple to the sweet life; a place to indulge your sweet tooth and reconnect with your inner child.
