ACU is a private, non-profit, Christian university in Phoenix, Arizona with a wide variety of majors and areas of study preparing students for successful careers, and also remains committed to its vision of transforming culture with biblical truth. All students – whether campus, online, or evening — are taught through a biblically-integrated, general education curriculum called “The CORE”. Spiritual development is integrated within the University experience where all campus students receive a minor in Biblical Studies, attend chapel twice a week, and complete spiritual formation and service hours each semester.
ACU offers various programs of study including Business Administration, Behavioral Health, Marketing, Sports Management, Political Science, and Communication. All students graduate with a minor in Biblical studies, regardless of major.
With a notable student-to-faculty ratio of 16:1, ACU’s distinguished professors are committed to developing the complete person through the integration of faith, learning, and Christian leadership. All staff, faculty, administrators, coaches, and Board of Trustees are committed Christians and sign ACU's statement of faith.
ACU competes as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC). Athletic opportunities include acrobatics and tumbling (w), baseball (m), basketball (m, w), cross country (m, w), football (m), golf (m, w), soccer (m, w), softball (w), tennis (m, w), track (m, w) and volleyball (w). Club sports include cheer and shot gun sports.
