The Higher Institute of Informatics and Mathematics [ISIMM], established by decree No. 1623 on July 9th, 2002, is a scientific public institution of higher education under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the University of Monastir. Initially, the institute focused on programs related to Computer Science and its applications, Mathematics and its applications (Modeling, Statistics), but over time it has been authorized to diversify its programs and now offers a wide range of programs from undergraduate to research and professional Master's degrees, as well as a program for electronics engineering. The institute has expanded its specializations and generally organizes its programs around three departments and follows the LMD architecture. Recently, the institute has enriched its programs by adding a specific formation for an electronics engineering degree.
The quality of the programs offered by the institute and their relevance to the job market are supported by the experience of its teachers in the field of education, with this experience being demonstrated by the institute's openness to its socioeconomic and industrial environment. The ISIMM offers programs in the field of Science and Technology in the following disciplines: Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electronics. These programs are in line with the harmonization of the higher education system in Tunisia, which aims to facilitate progressive orientations and promote national and international student mobility.
