The National Institute of Integrative Medicine is a Not-For-Profit organisation, which brings together education and research in Integrative Medicine, as well as facilitating its practice at the NIIM Wellness Clinic.
Education
The courses available at NIIM are designed to educate healthcare practitioners in the utilisation, safety and limitations of evidence-based complementary medicine, and its place alongside conventional medicine. Awareness
NIIM is dedicated to raising awareness of Integrative Medicine in the community through seminars, lectures, media appearances, news and corporate programs, such as the Complete Health Program. Research
With the support of local and international partners, the Institute conducts research into Complementary and Integrative Therapies, exploring innovative ideas and assessing the efficacy, toxicity and quality of Complementary and Alternative Medicines to expand the evidence base associated with Integrative Medicine. This research is critical in furthering understanding and utilisation of Integrative Medicine in the medical community.
