About KNHS Homeownership Services: KNHS Homeownership Services (KNHS) is a 501 (c)(3) organization. KNHS mission is fostering homeownership and neighborhood revitalization. Founded in 1981, KNHS is a charter member of NeighborWorks® America, a congressionally chartered national network of community-based organizations. KNHS offers a variety of specialized loan products and financial and homeownership education and coaching services to primarily low- and moderate-income households in Kalamazoo County in their effort to buy, fix, or keep their home. KNHS has been shaped by residents, lenders, local leaders, foundations. government, and representatives of the core neighborhoods - Edison, Northside, Eastside, Fairmont, Stuart and Vine - in the City of Kalamazoo.
