Factory Studios is a space for makers, players and do-ers. A space to dream big, get noisy, go heavy and be out there.
Go again and again and again... until it's ready.
Formed in 2007 by Leon and Sol Curry, Factory Studios is a multi-discipline creative space in the heart of Bristol.
The space caters for film makers, content creation, photographers, DJs and – of course – bands. The creative community sits at the heart of Factory Studios and it's with great joy that the studio sees pre-productions, up-and-comers, film-makers and photographers bring ideas to life behind the studio doors every day.
See what Factory Studios can do for you. Creativity loves company.
There are 11 studios including a 1500 square foot studio for pre-production which can also be used for showcases, photography, music videos, art installations, and events.
The studios are also available for location filming and previous clients include ITV, Running Bear Productions and the Discovery Channel.
The studio is housed in an 18th century mill building on a secure industrial estate on the edge of Bristol city centre. The building was originally converted into a studio during the early 1990’s when it was known as Channel House. In those days everyone from Portishead to Massive Attack recorded and rehearsed here. Years later, following a 5 year stint as the base for Roni Size and Full Cycle, Factory Studios took over in 2007.
