The Oregon School-Based Health Alliance (OSBHA) promotes the health and academic success of children and youth in the state of Oregon, protects and expands the value of health services in schools, and generates community commitment to expand and sustain local services.
OSBHA also builds public policy support, and influences legislative and strategic alliances to strengthen the reputation and importance of school health services, school-based health care, and comprehensive health insurance for young people.
The organization works to engage stakeholders and communities across the state to generate awareness, demand, impact, and value of School-Based Health Centers, coordinates and strengthens services across the school-based health system, and works to link individual and community health to issues of education and social equity.
