In February 2013, husband and wife team, Emma and Stuart Willis commenced as Directors of Rural Enterprises. "With our backgrounds in recruitment and agriculture, we thought this was the perfect business for our passion and skills. We will continue to focus on seasonal, casual and permanent positions and provide a personalised service and quality advice to both farmers and farm workers." Rural Enterprises Australia have been very busy recently! In additional to our specialist agricultural recruitment, we also manage two Government contracts. We are very pleased to announce that we have been been awarded the contract for Employment Facilitator and Support Services for the Local Jobs Program across three regions (Perth North, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie), effective July 2021. As part of the economic response to COVID-19, the Australian Government has established a program to support the recovery of local economies through identified place-based strategies that can respond rapidly to the region's training and employment needs, and importantly, connect job seekers to local jobs (Local Jobs Program). We were also successfully awarded the Harvest Trail Services contract for the South West region. Harvest Trail Services is a government initiative to help connect businesses needing seasonal harvest workers and individuals looking for seasonal harvest work.
