In 2018, the majority shareholding of Wren was acquired by Sauter Automation Limited. Paul Hurrell remained as a shareholder and Managing Director, while Director Alan Neely decided the time was right to exit the business. The company is active globally and has grown significantly in recent years, with a 2018 turnover in excess of €400 million. Sauter develops and manufactures products and solutions covering Projects, Services and Facilities Management. The change in ownership has not changed the ethos of Wren, and the provision of service excellence remains a central pillar of the company. Now, with the backing of an international building technology manufacturer, Wren is able to provide new platforms to enhance the customer experience even further.
