Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership is an award-winning non-profit green developer with over 20 years of experience in developing and preserving affordable housing in Minnesota. The agency partners with local units of government and community-based organizations in 30 counties to ensure that all households have access to safe, healthy, energy efficient, and affordable housing. Over its lifetime, SWMHP has been a change-agent: developing, financing, or rehabilitating nearly 7,200 housing units, bringing over $450,000,000 of investment into the service area, facilitating home buyer education and counseling to over 5,400 households, and repairing over 300 downtown businesses and community buildings.
