Canterbury Festival is Kent's International Arts Festival, one of the most important cultural events in the South East. As an independent charity, the Festival brings a rich mixture of performing arts from around the world to surprise and delight audiences each October. The Festival inspires artists to create and perform. It commissions new work. It champions emerging talent and supports those seeking careers in the cultural industries. It adds financial and cultural wealth to the Canterbury District and contributes to the wellbeing of its citizens. The Festival is enthusiastic about reaching new audiences, encouraging participation, providing opportunities for learning and making sure everyone can be a part of the biggest Arts Festival in the region. The Festival will be running from 15 - 29 October 2022.
