In 2007, Christl Mahfouz opened Ace Specialties with one client and one dream.
The business quickly grew its client base and professional service offerings as new client needs arose, earning the recognition as one of the “go-to” spots along the Gulf Coast for oilfield workwear and promotional products. The business continued to grow and thrive until the economic downturn of 2015 when Louisina’s oil and gas industry was hit especially hard. This shock was felt by many in the Lafayette, LA community, including Ace Specialties. Ace found itself on the brink of losing everything, and Christl knew that it was time to either evolve or face closing this business. After months of prayer and creative thinking, Christl saw the sign she needed that would not only save her business, but breathe new life into their mission. On June 16, 2015, Christl watched Donald J. Trump take his famous ride down the escalator in Trump Tower as he announced his candidacy for President of the United States. Christl and her team immediately began designing logos, printing products, and created a merchandise site. These efforts landed Christl the opportunity to pitch her business to his campaign in Trump Tower on July 22, 2015. Christl’s pitch was a success, saving Christl’s business and charting a new course for Ace Specialties. Ace went on to manage the campaign’s unprecedented merchandise operation, support the President’s rallies, and design the most recognizable political brand in American History. In addition to being the go-to supplier of USA-MADE promotional products and apparel, Ace Specialties is proud to work with avast portfolio of Republican candidates to raise money through merchandise sales. By using Ace’s merchandise and fundraising platform, candidates are able to promote their brand with custom merchandise while collecting contributions for their campaign. Ace Specialties continues to develop innovative, successful strategies to ensure victories for each of its partners.
