The Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative is a collaborative undertaking by a U.S. and a Canadian not-for-profit organization working together to connect and protect habitat from Yellowstone to Yukon so people and nature can thrive.
We have collaborated with more than 700 partners throughout the region – including local government and community groups, scientists and conservationists, Indigenous communities, as well as ranchers and other landowners. Together, we work toward a unified vision for conserving this iconic and deeply interconnected landscape.
Y2Y is committed to a scientific approach to conservation, and is recognized as one of the leading mountain conservation initiatives in the world. Officially established in 2000, Y2Y has offices located in Canmore, Alberta, and Bozeman, Montana.
