The Australian Services Union has members in diverse industries: united for a stronger voice for workers. ASU members work across local government, social and community services, water and statutory authorities like Parks Victoria and VicRoads, energy, transport, shipping, travel, info tech and, in Tasmania, airlines and clerical/administration. We are a union for members that deliver services Australia depends on every day. The ASU protects, promotes and improves the working conditions and entitlements of our members. We help you and your co-workers deal with issues as they arise at your workplace – either individually or as a group – and campaign to improve the conditions for workers. We provide workplace information, services and individual support to members. We are not-for-profit, member-owned and run. We exist only for the benefit of our members. The ASU has local representation and delegates across Tasmania and Victoria, backed up by full-time officials of the Union.
