ISLA Berlin is an innovative and inclusive retail destination. We are an online and offline community with a love for fashion, music and beauty. At ISLA you can come to shop streetwear, get your nails and braids done, DJ, or just hang out and meet like-minded people. ISLA Berlin was founded in 2017 as a response to the lack of welcoming and inclusive retail spaces in Berlin. The nail art scene has boomed globally over the past decade, but Berlin was lagging behind. Step forward, ISLA. From day one, we were the go-to for the most creative nails in the city, attracting press attention from i-D, Highsnobiety, Sleek, Indie and others, as well as a customer network of influential cultural leaders. We have been eager to learn from our consumer base and expanded our offering to include a braid bar, beauty products, a radio show, workshops and many new clothing brands. During the first year alone, we have also worked with major international brands (including Converse, Nike, and Zalando), as well as relevant local innovators (such as Live From Earth). We work from our store in central Berlin, but also provide nails, braids and other services for offsite events.
