Free a Girl is dedicated to rescue children from sexual exploitation and prosecute the offenders. We are active in Bangladesh, Brazil, China, India, Iraq, Laos, The Netherlands, Nepal and Thailand. In the past 15 years, we rescued over 7300 minor girls from a situation of sexual exploitation. Free a Girl works with local partner organisations in countries where we can add most value. Free a Girl was founded in 2008 by Arjan Erkel, Evelien Hölsken, Roelof van Laar and Yolanthe Cabau.
