Malatest is a cross-sectoral research and consulting firm. Because of our strong team of dynamic, flexible researchers, we are able to provide high quality, custom solutions to clients representing a wide variety of subject areas. We work all across Canada and internationally to answer important questions and contribute to positive social change. Our research and consulting has been used by thousands of clients to develop new programs, modify existing ones, and ensure that our clients are getting the best results from the money they invest in their services and products.
Just as we seek to improve the world around us through research and consulting, so too do we constantly drive to improve our own practices and processes. We have developed products for our clients based on the expertise of our researchers, and constantly test and refine them based on our own experience and the feedback of our clients. To support training and mentorship, we have tapped the expertise of our management group and researchers to develop a comprehensive internal training system that ensures that our staff members understand how we do research, both in terms of our research practices and in terms of our dual focus on clients and custom solutions.
We occupy a unique position in Canada, combining large-scale survey capacity with expertise in evaluation, labour market research, needs assessments and gap analyses, and field and observational research. We complete research related to transportation, education, early learning/child care, health, industry, immigration, Indigenous people, and youth. Our management team includes experts in each of these areas, and brings the strength and knowledge of more than 200 years of collective experience. We have been operating for 35 years and have five offices (located in Victoria, Edmonton, Toronto, and Ottawa) and 200 staff across Canada.
