About Community Action Partnership
Community Action Partnership is a national, 501(c)3 nonprofit membership organization that provides technical assistance, training, and other resources to Community Action Agencies, nonprofit and public groups funded by the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), a federal program that allocates funding to states to connect Americans to greater opportunity.
Our Agency
Montgomery Community Action Committee & CDC is one of the nation's many CAPs. Since 1965 MCAC has served the low-income residents of Montgomery County, Alabama. Our agency is non-profit organization that provides social services and programs that assist, educate and promote self-sufficiency. Our agency is also partnered with housing programs that provide
affordable housing for residents.

About the Early Head Start/Head Start Program:
The Early Head Start/Head Start program is biggest program that is offered by MCAC. The program's objective is to provide qualify, safe, nurturing, engaging, enjoyable and secure learning environments for the 1700-1800 children (Birth to Age 5) that are served at the 20 centers throughout the Montgomery County.
