The New Orleans Board of Trade is a non-profit membership organization that was founded in 1880. From the first sale of pork products, which led to our foundation, to modern technology used to tracks vessels that enter and depart the Lower Mississippi River, the NOBOT has been actively involved with the maritime industry.
Today, the NOBOT provides various services and products to assist our members in their day to day operations. We provide our members with a daily newsletter to keep them informed of important information effecting commerce on the Mississippi River.
We serve the maritime industry through our Society of Maritime Arbitrators, we track all Mississippi River traffic and provide this information in real time to our members.
