TEDxUofTScarborough is an independently organised TED event that brings together the brightest minds to share their ideas and stories with the world. We believe that everyone has something to say, and we are committed to providing a platform for ideas worth spreading! Our annual TEDxUofTScarborough event is a celebration of ideas, and we are proud to have hosted some of the most inspiring speakers from around the world. We have also created a number of other initiatives at UTSC to promote the exchange of ideas. We are always looking for new ways to connect people and share ideas. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
