Data Con LA is the largest data conference in Southern California and features the most vibrant gathering of data and technology enthusiasts in Los Angeles. Organized and supported by a community of volunteers, sponsors, and speakers, this annual conference has earned recognition from the City of Los Angeles for its outstanding efforts in nurturing the local data community.
The conference started as Big Data Camp LA in 2013; despite its consistent growth in size and reputation, Data Con LA remains accessible and affordable. When the event went virtual during the pandemic, it continued to thrive, and the community remained engaged. The conference hosted various programs, including speaker sessions, discussion panels, networking sessions, startup pitch competitions, hackathons, and tutorials.
Data Con LA has been honored to feature a prestigious lineup of keynote speakers from the biggest names in the industry, including Eric Garcetti, Former Mayor of the City of Los Angeles; Ron Galperin, Controller at the City of LA; and Larry Dominique, Senior VP and Head of Alfa Romeo and Fiat North America to name a few.
