Central Saanich is a friendly and active community spanning the middle of the Saanich Peninsula. From Island View Beach on the east to the Saanich Inlet on the west, the region includes fantastic parks, beaches and amenities. With the highest concentration of agricultural production in the region, Central Saanich is dedicated to celebrating and preserving its agricultural roots and the bounty of green spaces.
Home to the Tsartlip and Tsawout First Nations, it is home to more than 18,000 residents, including the two First Nations. For a relatively small municipality, Central Saanich tackles incredibly important issues and always has a number of interesting initiatives underway.
The District has a committed staff that is connected to the community, supportive of each other, and works closely together. The team is working to shape a complete, compact community where people can live, work, and be active.
