Samayu is a non-profit working for net positive outcomes for people, planet and animals. There is increasing recognition globally, about how issues of equity, sustainability and animal wellbeing are threaded together into a complex web of problems that cannot be solved in isolation. Yet, mainstream narratives do not recognise massive animal exploitation through food systems. A multi-sectoral approach to address the tremendous pressure on our planetary ecosystem because of the inextricable ways in which animals, people and environment are linked through our food systems, is now a critical and an urgent need, in the face of our planetary challenges. Samayu is committed to building a sustainable, equitable, environment friendly world that recognises the role of animals and nature as being integral to this objective.
