TransStadia is a Sports Development Company headquartered in Mumbai, India. The company operates three business lines through subsidiary companies i.e. sports infra development, sports content marketing and modular arena seating manufacturing. TransStadia has signed a PPP mandate with Govt. of Gujarat on DBFOOT for a multipurpose football stadium which will also house a sports academy, center of sports medicine and sports complex support facilities. Development of sports at grassroots level is also part of the agreement with the Govt. of Gujarat. The company is actively involved in policy advocacy through various platforms; one such platforms is the annual India International Sports Summit where the Ernst & Young-TransStadia sports industry report is released. Beach Soccer World Wide (BSWW) and TransStadia have an exclusive agreement to launch & promote Beach Soccer in India and the first Beach Soccer India Championships will be hosted in Goa in Nov/Dec 2011 under the aegis of AIFF, GFA and BSWW.
