Heroic is a leading European esports organization with Nordic roots. Today, Heroic has professional teams at top elite level in three different game titles, reaching millions of viewers globally. Founded in Denmark in 2016 as a promising challenger in the professional esports scene in Counterstrike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), the organization currently competes in leading titles such as CS2, Fortnite and ESL R1 (simracing). Heroic was acquired by Omaken Sports in February 2021, providing a strong platform for additional growth and expansion. In November 2021 Omaken Sports changed its name to Heroic Group to better reflect the long-term ambitions of the company. Heroic Group is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with rosters including players and coaches from all of the Nordic countries, as well as Austria, Bulgaria, Netherlands, UK and US. With rapid growth as Heroic's main objective, Heroic is quickly entering new games, signing new elite teams, positioning for franchise stakes in top leagues, and attracting world-class commercial partners. The timing is now, and the opportunities are many. Initially, our main target is to conquer the elite esports segment under the Heroic banner.
