Launched in the fall of 2015, Georgetown’s Institute of Politics and Public Service (GU Politics) at the McCourt School of Public Policy is dedicated to reconnecting young people with the notion that politics is a noble vehicle for public service. We provide access for our students to our nation’s top political figures and public servants. We serve as an incubator of political thought where students drive the conversation to come up with the next big ideas on how to make our political system work better—a place where we prepare the next generation of leaders, and in turn, they help us become better leaders ourselves.
