The Green House Growers family, consisting of the Green House Ely, the Green House Norwich and the Green House Sussex. We’ve been growing fresh food since 1977, beginning as a small family business with just over 1ha of tomatoes. Now we have 48ha across our nurseries in Sussex, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire. Over the years we’ve become known for the best quality and for pioneering sustainability. Our team has over 300 years of combined experience in growing the best tasting, freshest food.
We’ve always been at the forefront of reducing environmental impact, whether that is using bumblebees for production or taking care of every drop of water we use.
As the Green House Growers family, we account for nearly 20% of tomatoes and 25% of cucumbers grown in the UK. Expertly grown, the technology allows us to produce ten times the crop that can be produced and uses ten times less water than traditional farming. All this means our food is of the highest quality, with a shorter route from plant to plate than imported produce.
