Balmoral State High School was established in 1958. Over many decades, this great secondary school has provided the education thousands of students have needed to begin their careers or move on to further study. Students who graduate from this school have access to the full range of post-school options—tertiary study, training or the workforce. Balmoral State High School is situated on ten hectares in Balmoral, approximately six kilometres from the Brisbane city centre. The school is well serviced by bus and rail transport.
