Closed Joint-Stock Company TransTeleCom (Company TTK) is one of the TOP-5 Russian telecommunications companies. The company was founded in 1997. Its main shareholder is Russian Railways. TTK operates and services one of the largest fiber networks in Russia, which is more than 76 000 km long and has the bandwidth capability up to 1.6 Tbps. The transcontinental TTK backbone, EurasiaHighway, has connections to the communication networks of almost all the neighboring countries, including China, Japan, Mongolia, North Korea, Finland, the Baltic states and the CIS, and it is the optimal route between Europe and Asia.
