Genting Plantations Berhad (197701003946 (34993-X)) commenced operations in 1980 as the plantation arm of Genting Berhad. Having gained a listing on Bursa Malaysia on 30 August 1982, Genting Plantations Berhad has grown to become one of the Malaysia's leading oil palm plantation companies, with interests extending to property development and biotechnology.

Plantation Division
Genting Plantations' operations consist of oil palm estates and palm oil mills spread over Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Indonesia. The Group's landbank in Malaysia has increased substantially over the years to about 66,000 hectares. Genting Plantations has established a significant presence in Indonesia, where it is currently developing 162,000 hectares of land for oil palm cultivation through joint ventures. Genting Plantations also owns 9 oil mills in Malaysia and Indonesia, with combined milling capacity of 405 metric tonnes per hour, and downstream manufacturing facilities. As a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), it is committed to the sustainable production of palm oil.
Property Division
Genting Plantations is involved in the development of quality residential and commercial projects aimed at unlocking the value of its vast landbank in Malaysia. Since venturing into property development in the 1990s, Genting Plantations has embarked on four projects covering the states of Kedah, Melaka, and Johor.
AgTech Division
Genting Plantations, an advocate of scientific advancement, has positioned itself at the forefront of cutting-edge research in crop improvement, with the set-up of its subsidiaries, namely ACGT Sdn Bhd ("ACGT") and Genting Green Tech Sdn Bhd ("GGT"). The development and commercialisation of genomics-based solutions by both ACGT and GGT are poised to revolutionise the dynamics of crop productivity and value enhancement.
