Ranab (Radio and Navigation Service in Sweden AB) is a family owned company located in Skärhamn on the island of Tjörn. We provide sales, installation, maintenance and surveys of marine communication and navigation. Ranab was founded in 2011, but we have many years of experience of both the shipping business as well as the marine electronics market. We therefore know that it is important to be able to provide a personal and a competitive service where you as a customer to us can get a full package solution where we provide the sales, and installation as well as the subsequent maintenance. We provide products and service in the areas of marine communication, navigation, IT and documentation. We are authorized by the Swedish Transport Agency and perform both annual GMDSS radio surveys as well as surveys after new installations. In addition to this, we are authorized by several manufacturers of marine electronics and we have a wide knowledge about most products. Our office is located in Skärhamn, just north from Gothenburg, a strategic place along the swedish westcoast, but also within a short range from the inland waterways. We also have a good cooperation with many service partners in Sweden as well as around the world.
