BPSA is a non-stock corporation founded on April 1, 2020, whose mission is to involve Black citizens in the political process and to advance economic and social justice of Black citizens. It is comprised of civil rights leaders past and present, community and pastoral leaders (including five pastors, two of whom represent the oldest and largest Black congregations in Dane County), and citizens who have chosen to speak in a concerted voice on important issues that demand a united stance. It endeavors to center and involve Black voices in the political process and to advance social, economic, and environmental justice for all Black people by building a support base. One of the purposes of the organization is fulfilled by creating and sustaining an inclusive and solid foundation to hear, support, and advocate for Black voices. This is done by increasing communication and knowledge amongst Blacks in Dane County concerning areas that adversely affect BPSA’s constituency. OFFICERS Rev. David A.
