The Music Society of LUMS is among the biggest and oldest societies of the Lahore University of Management Sciences having been founded before the turn of the millennium in 1999. Since its inception, it has been at the forefront of helping promote music both on the LUMS campus and in Pakistan. The society has produced Ali Hamza of the band Noori and Natasha Noorani, founder of the Lahore Music Meet (LMM) among other notable alumni. Our stage has been the host for hundreds of musicians ranging from household industry names such as Ali Azmat, Josh, Ali Zafar and Entity Paradigm to upcoming indie artists such as Keeray Makoray, Jimmy Khan and Mehdi Maloof. We’ve come a long way since the small group of students practicing in whatever free space, they got to an organized society that numbers over 70 active members, has 5 mega scale events and has its own state of the art recording studio and jam room. This year we aim to continue our proud tradition of progress and scale even further heights.
