In 1992 the very first Col’Cacchio Pizzeria was launched in Foreshore, Cape Town, offering delectable gourmet artisanal wood-fired pizzas, sumptuous pastas and gourmet salads. It wasn’t long before the Col'Cacchio magic spread and captured the taste buds of South Africans.
Today, 31 years later, the group comprises 25 branches in South Africa, Namibia and Mauritius.
The key to Col'Cacchio’s growth is the commitment to maintaining the high level of quality artisanal food that made the first restaurant such a success, keeping up with trends and innovations, maintaining a hands-on, can-do approach and our pure unadulterated passion for all things pizza!
Col’Cacchio Pizzeria launched the first-ever Cannabis pizza range in RSA in 2019. It was also the first restaurant group in RSA to introduce gluten-free and banting pizza and pasta offerings, a vegan menu, and the famous pizza and salad combos of less than 500 calories for the health-conscious enthusiast.
Innovation is key so we have also diversified our Italian Flavour, South African flair offering by branching into retail with the Col'Cacchio retail range, now stocking a number of prominent food retail outlets. We have also developed and launched a number of cutting-edge dark kitchen brands and concepts.
