The American Foreign Service Association is a unique organization, both the professional association and labor union for the U.S. Foreign Service. Our mission: defending the Foreign Service and its people. Our members are active-duty and retired Foreign Service members from across six foreign affairs agencies --U.S. Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development, Foreign Agricultural Service, Foreign Commercial Service, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, and U.S. Agency for Global Media.
