Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento brings people together to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Operating in Sacramento and Yolo County since 1985, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento provides affordable home ownership opportunities to low-income, hardworking families, as well as provides affordable critical repairs and preservation opportunities to vulnerable elderly and Veteran homeowners to help them stay in their homes and age with dignity.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento also has a ReStore (over 55,000 square feet) warehouse that sells building materials to the general public for 30 to 50% off retail price. The money from this covers administrative costs and goes into the Fund for Humanity so Habitat can continue to build homes.
Every year, Habitat Greater Sacramento partners with hundreds of organizations, volunteers, and supporters to help build and repair homes, revitalize communities, and change lives.
