Vendevo was originally founded in 2006 by Fahad Khan & Johan Thörnqvist, two industrial engineering students at Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden. The name "Vendevo" was coined by Ida Munker and Therése Larsson from Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship during their internship at the company's New York Office.
