Oman Green Building Council is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 2012 under the auspices of The Oman Society of Engineers, with the objective of promoting the Green Building Concept and its principles, saving the environment and ensuring sustainable development. We as a group of professionals residing in the Sultanate of Oman; realised the need to have a conservationist approach to the use of energy ;where such energy is excessively used which has an adverse impact on countries economy as well as global environment. We comprise of academics, industrialists, conservationists and the general public.
