Casing drilling in the subsea environment is the central technology in the development of the Subsea Drive and Subsea Anchoring Corporations business cases. Its application is for the deepening of the structural casing of offshore oil and gas wells and for the installation of subsea anchors. Both applications of casing drilling have significant impact in reducing the costs of both offshore wells and the provision of anchoring for floating structures.
