Stand Against Violence (SAV) is a registered charity that works with young people to prevent youth violence. Our vision is to work in communities throughout the UK to give people a chance to live in a world without violence.
We predominently deliver workshops to equip and inform young people on how to stay safe and Stand Against Violence. We also cover topics including bullying, substance misuse, personal safety, first aid and emotional resilience for primary ages.
Our mission is to be the leading provider through lifelong learning of violence prevention services in England and Wales. Through the delivery of high quality, innovative and evidence-based learning that encompasses the diverse nature of a community. We will ensure we have a voice at all levels to influence agendas and create positive change to attitudes towards violence. We will work with other agencies who share our values and strengthen our impact.
SAV was set up in 2005 following the tragic murder of 17 year old Lloyd Fouracre.
