Coastal Housing Group is a not-for-profit organisation (registered social landlord) operating in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire and Bridgend employing around 260 people.
Coastal formed in 2008 after a merger between Swansea Housing Association (formed 1978) and Dewi Sant Housing Association (formed 1991) with the objective of regenerating older stock and building new houses to improve the local community and provide good quality affordable homes.
We have over 5000 properties for rent and for sale and are experts in supporting older people, those who require adapted homes and people who need help managing their tenancy.
To meet the challenges of sustainable growth Coastal has also developed a robust commercial portfolio that mirrors and supports the organisation’s ethos and values, leading the way with a programme of city/town centre mixed-use regeneration. From pubs and restaurants to hi-tech office space for startup enterprise, Coastal offers a sustainable and ethical approach to commercial letting with a commitment to urban regeneration.
We pride ourselves on the quality of the homes we offer, regeneration of the areas in which we operate and the excellent standard of service we provide.
In addition, our subsidiary Pennant Homes develops homes for low cost home ownership and outright purchase. We are continuously looking for new development opportunities across South Wales. These have included mixed-use schemes such as the £25m Urban Village in Swansea and other residential schemes including houses and apartments.
