Bay Area Girls Rock Camp is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls through music, promoting an environment that fosters self-confidence, creativity and collaboration. It is a place where girls learn to play instruments, form bands, and write and perform their own music in a supportive environment of female instructors and mentors. Through music lessons, workshops, group activities and performance, girls acquire skills that help guide them throughout their lives. Bay Area Girls Rock Camp is an independent 501(c)(3) organization based in Oakland, CA.
