AeroDelft is a student team with one mission: to prove and promote that emission-free aviation is possible by developing the world’s first student made liquid hydrogen-powered electric aircraft.
We are executing our mission with Project Phoenix, by designing and manufacturing a full-scale Sling 4 aircraft powered by hydrogen. Our aim is to build the first student made aircraft to fly on liquid hydrogen to remove CO2 emissions altogether by using this very potent fuel source.
Our full-scale aircraft is set to fly on gaseous hydrogen in 2025, with its maiden liquid hydrogen flight in 2026.
