The Young Women's Resource Center (YWRC) is a non-profit agency founded in 1978 to provide gender specific services to all young women ages 10-21 in central Iowa. Founder Louise Noun and other community leaders believed young women needed a safe place to receive support, education, and advocacy. Services are provided in schools, community organizations, and at the Center.
The Mission of the Young Women's Resource Center is to embrace and inspire young women to become strong, self-confident and successful.
The Vision of the Young Women's Resource Center is that in our community, young women realize their full potential.
A central principle of the Center is that all services are voluntary, confidential and free.
