ROCK is a non-profit child and youth mental health agency and has served Halton for 50 years. We provide an inter-professional approach to the assessment and treatment of children, youth and families in difficulty.
ROCK is the Lead Agency for the child and youth mental health sector in Halton. We are proud to collaborate with our partners to strengthen the community-based system for delivering services and supports to children, youth and their families.
ROCK services are available for children from birth to 17 and their families. We aim to improve the lives and relationships of families with children who are having social, emotional and behavioural difficulties that put them at risk for mental health concerns.
ROCK is also involved in multiple partnership programs that provide services for Transitional Aged Youth up to the age of 25 years.
At ROCK, we function on a multidisciplinary team basis, that may include persons trained in psychology, social work, therapy, occupational therapy, education, early childhood education, family and individual counselling, and child and youth counselling. When necessary, certain aspects of our work together may be discussed with other members of this team.
