The Animal Welfare Collective at NYU (AWC) is an official undergraduate and graduate student club at New York University. We are a community of students passionate about animal rights and welfare — educating, advocating, inspiring, and providing a space for people who believe that every sentient being deserves a life free from violence. Through different speaker events, collaborations, volunteering, and outreach programs we engage students on different topics regarding animal welfare. We provide guidance on how to live a life free from cruelty (e.g. vegan mentor program) and create a community of people who care and support each other.
