Our unique relationship with some of the largest banks and auto lenders in the country gives our dealers the ability to participate in special ARG programs that they would not have access to. Automotive Resource Group offers these programs to its dealers on an absolutely no-risk basis. There are no sign-up fees or monthly fees, we work strictly on a paid for performance basis. We can do this because we are so confident in our ability to save dealer groups money and increase profitability. Therefore we only get paid when our dealer makes money.
In addition to the savings on all products and services, the ARG dealers take the spread between current cost and ARG program pricing into a dealer management account not as a cost reduction on the dealer statement. This allows the dealer to treat the savings as “other income” thereby generating these dollars as net income increasing the dealer principal’s personal profit. Additionally, since this income is ongoing, it is considered an add-back and in the event of a sale the dealer will also be entitled to the current multiple on the income.
Participating dealers have access to all ARG programs with the ability to pick and choose which programs they would like to participate in. In the past if a dealer has had a special affinity for a particular vendor they are current using we have been very successful in obtaining substantial cost reductions without impacting the relationship.
