Durham Academy is an independent school serving students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in Durham, North Carolina. Enrollment for the 2023–2024 school year is 1,247 students with 48% students of color. In four divisions across three campuses, sixty-nine DA faculty hold advanced degrees and an average of 20 years of teaching experience. Three full-time college counselors and a career exploration counselor aid our students in succeeding in their years beyond Durham Academy, while DA commits more than $4.5 million to financial aid each year to ensure our current students are supported.
