Hospice of Santa Barbara provides care to anyone impacted by life-threatening illness or grieving the death of a loved one.
Hospice of Santa Barbara is a “volunteer” hospice, which means we volunteer our professional services free of charge to meet the emotional, social and spiritual needs of people facing the end of life or grieving the death of a loved one. Each one of these people has come to Hospice of Santa Barbara with a mix of sadness and uncertainty.
Hospice of Santa Barbara serves more than 700 children and adults every month. Hospice of Santa Barbara is also present on 11 local middle and high school campuses to work with children and teens who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Each one of these people has received personal, professional, wise and compassionate care. And Hospice of Santa Barbara never charges anyone for the services it offers. It does not receive insurance reimbursement or government support. All the work Hospice of Santa Barbara does is made possible by generous supporters.
