Queensland South Native Title Services (QSNTS) was established in 2005 as the native title service provider for Queensland’s southern and western regions, performing statutory functions prescribed under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) to assist Traditional Owners in pursuit of their native title aspirations. QSNTS’ region of responsibility is one of the largest in Australia, spanning from Mount Isa in the west to the eastern coast north of Marlborough and down to the state’s southern border. With new challenges and opportunities now presented in native title, we will walk together with Traditional Owners in trusting partnerships, providing the support they need to make strong and informed decisions through every step of the native title journey. We recognise the authority of Traditional Owners in respect of decisions affecting their Country and people, and we will work diligently to deliver services that align with our vision of Right People, Right Country, Right Path.
